I still remember when everyone I knew in the community was older than I was. :) That was a while back, though; we seem to have more than a few \"second-generation\" players these days. Which is odd, for a video game...

For the miniatures? That's easy! First you remove them from the sprues, clean up the flash and mold lines with the exacto knife(please be careful) and needle files, score the parts with the exacto to help the Epoxy(or any glue that works on metal) to get a better surface to hold, you scrub them with white vinegar(or a cup of dish soap and water) with a toothbrush, and you assemble them(you can find examples of miniature assemblyhere, and after the assembly is done(after the glue dries), scrub it with white vinegar to remove oils and residue from the assembly process so it'll be ready for the primer and paint. The miniatures that I got are for the Classic Battletech Tabletop Game(I know Bettina, you're not intrested in that stuff)(and I don't have the main game of Classic Battltech yet!). No, they're NOT toys(according to the back of the package of the miniature).

As for the Robotech(the Americanized version of Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada) anime(AKA Japanimation, or Japanese Cartoon) series, I watch them on DVD(so far I have volumes 1-6 and Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles).

I went to the link you showed me but didn't see any board game. I am thinking you don't actually play with these but treat them as collector items. Thats Kool if its that.

I collect fairies, (though you would not be interested :)) These as a matter of fact and they all have wings.

I'm at least third, and I started playing online in '98 with D1 and D2. D3 demo is fourth generation.

I think the current new players are more like "twelfth generation"...
