Computer slows after ebay surfing
A friend browses through eBay and says that the longer she's on the slower the computer gets.
Discounting over heating, what say you?

Do a spyware/adware/malware sweep, then flush the IE cache and cookies using ccleaner. Then set the cache size to say 60 MB instead of whatever 1000+ MB figure it has defaulted to.

Hmmm... are any toolbars or browser add-ons intended to aid in using Ebay installed on that system?
If so, get rid of them.
