Vid Card Question

Its due time for me to upgrade my system but im just haveing trobble on the Vid card section, iv been out of the loop for so long iv gone stupid :P

on the Nvidia cards (ii dont wanna hear any go to ATI it aint happening) anywho the nameing they do now has me confused does 8800GTS run better then a 8800GXT im jsut so confused and whats a good brand BFG has been good but i just need some help plez.


i want PCIEx16 and SLI and some thang that wont hert me to to much allready spending $570.99 on the MB CPU and Ram

8800 GTX is the current top-of-the-line nVidia wise. The GTS comes w/ fewer stream procs (96 vs 128), smaller memory interface (hence 640MB/320MB vs 768MB) and runs slightly slower. The GTS gives you your best bang/buck tho. Go 8800, GTS or GTX, eVGA brand (BFG has bad support lately). Here's one.

I have a XFX card in my current system, a strictly reference design model, I have no complaints.
