Robot Chicken is back!
Seth Green must have some magic mojo because he's got another new season of Robot Chicken on Nicktoons Channel. Can't wait for Sunday night and a new episode with more perverse hilarity.
It must have been that Robot Chicken Star Wars episode they recently aired that got them back on cable. That was one of the best episodes he's done so far. George Lucas even had fun with it.

A. It's [adult swim], not Nicktoons. Don't be insulting.tunnelcat wrote:Seth Green must have some magic mojo because he's got another new season of Robot Chicken on Nicktoons Channel. Can't wait for Sunday night and a new episode with more perverse hilarity.

B. There would have been another season even if the Star Wars special hadn't been made. Even reruns of RC consistently make [as]'s top 3 Sunday ratings list for the 18-39 age demographic. They'd be idiotic not to renew it.
C. While RC is indeed funny, it's far from the best comedy [as] has to offer. I'm far more excited about the second seasons of Frisky Dingo and Metalocalypse and the long-awaited premiere of Lucy: Daughter of the Devil myself.

I'm older than the target demographic for Robot Chicken and I still think it's a riot.
Same with Spongebob Squarepants, although for a different reason. If you listen to a lot of the jokes, they are very subversive, they'll go over the heads of younger children. But if you are a savvy adult, you'll get the double meanings. The writers have a weird sense of humor.
That was the way with the older Warner Bros. Bugs Bunny cartoons. They appealed to a wide audience age range. A lot of subversive joking going on, but a lot of them referenced things that were going on at the time they were made.
