I installed a php counter called BBClone on my website, Scott's Carpentry . The trouble is that it's slooooooowwww as hell, takes like 25 seconds to do its thing. Could you guys check it out and tell me if it's that slow or just me? It's only in the index.php page.
Thanks in advance

I guess that's not to bad considering the amount of information it's pulling down. I wish I could get it a little faster, but I think it has something to do with the DNS servers at my hosted site and that is out of my control.
If you want to see what this counter does take a look here

Just a few words on proofreading: Just because spellcheck didn't catch a word doesn't mean you've used the correct word. Use of inappropriate homophones makes you seem uneducated, and a lot of people equate that with stupidity. Additionally, apostrophes are not optional where they are appropriate, and most definately do not belong anywhere else.
CORRECTIONS BELOW IN BOLD.
Here's how I might re-write the above paragraph, feel free to use it however you'd like to, in whole or in part:

This entire paragraph could stand a re-write, to cut out awkward transitions, run-on sentences, and confusion of tenses.Scott's Carpentry Website wrote:Doing a remodeling project is a big job and costs a lot of money and if your (you're) like most people you want that money to stretch as far as it can, but how far is to (too) far? "Now wait a minute Scott, how can my money stretch (too) far"? Ok, let me give you an example. Lets (Let's) say you want a contractor to do a job for you and the bid comes to ten thousand dollars and you tell him you can only afford nine thousand dollars and the contractor says "ok, I can do it for that" and your (you're) thinking to yourself "nice, I just saved a thousand dollars". Well lets (let's) just think about what just happened, how is this contractor going to do this job for a thousand dollars less? He has to make a certain amount of money every day or he is going to go out of business so that couldn't be it. The guys that work for him are going to cost him the same amount, unless he can talk them into taking a pay cut just so he can do this job.. yeah right. I know for a fact that his insurance company isn't going to cut him any slack and neither is good old Uncle Sam, so whats (what's) left? Material, that's the only thing that he can cut costs on, so everyone gets there (their) fair share and you get stuck with inferior material, doesn't sound like such a good deal to me.

Just because your grammar isn't up to snuff doesn't make you stupid...But realize that a perception of stupidity can be created, and when you're attempting to promote a business, unless stupidity is the commodity that you are selling, it's a perception you want to avoid
