Don't you think every jock-sniffing, red-blooded American football fan would have a football game for a console attached to HDTV? I'm afraid to know the actual number, so I'm not looking it up.
Even still, they shouldn't be cutting support. If not a lot of people play, then they don't use much bandwidth. They can afford a few servers on the side with these games' servers. You know what the problem is? I think I do. It's that EA's corporate looked at their Christmas bonuses and figured $10,000,000 wasn't enough.
The game's a year old. That's sad.
I will never buy an EA title with the intent of multiplayer. It will have to have a strong singleplayer, because that's all I'll end up playing after...a year.

You think EA sucks, UbiSoft is a close second!
First they release Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (and many other games) with the Starforce copy protection malware that proceeded to destroy many user's writable drives.
Then they release Splinter Cell Double Agent with so many bugs that it's almost unplayable (CTD's, no shaders or AA, etc). That's what you get when you port a console game to the PC, idiots!
They stopped supporting it after patch 1.2, but it needs to be worked over a lot more to make it worth the money they took from everybody.
Most vendors will not take back a game either once it's been opened, so I get the feeling they're attitude is thanks for the money you gave us, now go f**k yourself and hack it on your own time to make it work on your system!

Maybe but UbiSoft backs the Frag Dolls and that gives them a little bit of help.

Y'know, I've heard a lot about that, but I haven't actually seen any time that actually happened.tunnelcat wrote:First they release Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (and many other games) with the Starforce copy protection malware that proceeded to destroy many user's writable drives.
