I was just chatting with a friend of mine here at work, and we began talking about some old battles. Waaaaaay back, when I first started in this division (almost 9 years now) I introduced the game to most of the guys. My buddy (toxic) and myself are the only two pilots left. I tought all the guys (including my wife) how to fly...all the tactics I knew (big mistake) and we would play for hours on end.
We don't play at work anymore, mostly due to our \"computer use policy.\" That, and the fact I was involved in a dispute over the damn game that almost cost me my job...but that's juts another story, and mostly because the other person could dish it, but not take it...oh well.
So, anyway, I said to my buddy, \"hey, I wonder if we can get an old copy and play it online...we should see if koolbear still has his site going. He had a copy of d1x posted there long ago.\"

Man I miss that game...but wait...I can have it again!
