They are all about the same meat... Base your buying decision on the Lifetime warranty some, but not all, offer

5950's overclock like s**t, since they pretty much max out the technology.

My concern about the MSI is that this is what they're *apparently* selling...

But according to a customer review, they're actually sending out these (revision 2), which you would likely prefer...

It's cooling is much more efficient and has that shown apparatus on both sides of the PCB.

no it was the 5800 that was a the "Dust Buster"
You mean the 5200. You know, the one that spawned the "FlowFX" spoof video.

i'd reccomend newegg for the service and warranties for anyone building a computer. they might be a few more bucks sometimes than you find on pricewatch, but its worth it. they also ship very quickly.

ive never had the problems mentioned about ATI before, but i have a 9800 pro not a 9700. the new drivers that just came out are way better than any previous version too.

i also have a friend who i built a system for with a FX 5600, runs smooth as silk as well. unless you're looking to build for the future games of the next few years, a 5600 is plenty.

me, i'd like mine to last me 2+ years, so i went all out. been a good 9 months so far and im still running everything at max with incredibly good results. however my friend with the 5600 probably wont have the same success a year down the road.

I think the FX5900 (ultra or non ultra) are very good cards for the money and hell good overall cards. Do not buy the XT or SE models as stated before are lower performing versions of the originals.

I have a 5900 Ultra from leadtek, it overclocks to higher then 5950 default speeds, but its so powerful at default that I just run it there, wont need to overclock this card for a while yet.
