Trusted Site
Trusted Site
I have the latest version of Thunderbird and on a important business e-mail client I get a message to put it in my trusted sites to be able to view the attachment. I looked in the various tabs but did not see anything related. So once again I come hat in hand asking for someones esteemed help.
Sounds like the attachment links through either IE or through your Windows OS to get to the client's site. If that's the case ... it's NOT a Thunderbird setting, but an IE setting.
... I assume you know the web site to put in? (such as http://www.descentbb.net or https://www.yourclient.com ) ...
Open your Window's Control Panel, open the Internet Options control panel, click the \"Security\" tab, click on \"Trusted Sites\", then click the \"Sites\" button. Add the web site you want to trust (not full site page path, just the site name) ... include the https:// or the http://
If the site you wish to trust does not have the \"s\" in the https:// ... un-check the \"Require server verification(https:) for all sites in this zone\"
NOTE: It's a good idea to ONLY trust sites that use the \"s\" in the https: ... and ONLY trust sites that you know and really do want to trust ... otherwise you're opening up your system to whatevery THEY want to do.
