Ipod/PSP question

Im looking at either a PSP or a ipod touch, mainly for the wifi web browsing, I only have one question:

how do they handle 80 column text? Im open to any other suggestions.

Psp can hanndle it but big gfx pages your sol cause its memory fills up but I have the 1st gen psp

I'm not entirely sure what context you're talking about w/r/t 80 column text on the iPod Touch, so I'll assume webpages. Since it scales webpages dynamically, there will be no issue (see the iPhone ads for demonstration, it's the same browser).

Come February, the SDK will be out and there should be an xterm emulator for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Someone will write one, I know it. :)
