ebay "information" auctions?
ebay "information" auctions?
I have seen these "bid on information that I can give you that will enable you to get a free" add here whatever item (computer, stereo, etc).
are these just scammers who take your $10 and run, or ???
they are all over the place...
very curious, and I cant see how this isnt some sort of deceit.
anyone know?

my ex got scammed a while back. basically, you paid £20 for a website url, however he'd worded his auction in such a way that the £20 would get you a mobile phone...
what really happend was that you paid this guy £20 for the url, then had to sign up to the website for another £20, then wait several months for more and more people to join the website in order for you to get the phone.
thankfully the seller was understanding... and my charm managed to get her 20 bux back...
but yea.. moral? dont bid unless the seller has it physically...
