You should see them in Florida boss. California avo's are really expensive until they start to get slightly soft (the perfect time to eat them) then the price drops significantly because no one wants them anymore. Florida avo's are hard all the time so that is what they are used to. Cheap avo's. That's the only thing I miss about the frickin state. Well, that and no state income tax.

Very old undergraduate student (spent a *few* years skiing, drinking beer and being a slacker after high school), Biology major. Currently work as a research assistant in a lab.
Starting grad school in September (Cellular and Molecular Biology).
PhD student in applied mathematics, studying mathematical biology / ecology with an emphasis on evolutionary applications.
In order to support myself as a grad student, I work in whatever area my department happens to need me to work in -- some quarters I teach calculus, some quarters I do next to nothing. I'm hoping next year to teach elementary-school math (which, surprisingly, pays a LOT.) I also work part-time as an assistant to our sysadmin.
I work for AAFES at Maxwell AFB, out in the Garden Center. It helps pay my way through tech school (programming) since I didn't have the money nor the attention span for a 4 year school (tried Clemson for a year).
