MSI P35 Platinum

Any thoughts on the MSI P35 Platinum compared to the MSI X38 MB? Value compared to performance if possible.

If stay w/ DDR2 and don't want to tune the living crap out of your system there's virtually no difference betw. the P35 and X38.

Thanks Grendel. Now to CPU's. Any preference between Intel quad Q6600 over a Phenom 9500 Agena or a Athlon 64 FX-74? Is FX-74 still 4 cores on 1 chip or is it 2 (2x) cores stuck together like the Intel chip?

Then too I haven't researched which CPU's will go in a P35 MB so I may be off base a bit.

P35 is an Intel chipset, only Intel CPUs work w/ it

I would prefer a Q6600 over a Phenom any time -- cheaper, faster, easy overclocking.
