Post by []V[]essenjah »

Just looking for a good pair of long-range two-way radios. Anyone know of a good set?

Edit: Two way radio distance is line of sight, not true distance, so get more than you need.

You should consider getting a Ham's license. They are absurdly easy to get nowadays and a good 2 meter radio can be got for around 150-200 bucks. There is complete repeater coverage on the 2 meter band that covers the whole US. I once heard a guy who was in California, talking on a 5 watt radio and I live in Georgia.
