Ok, this one has me stumped. A PC I'm working on for someone is having a problem between Internet Explorer and running javascript applications I suspect. Now, this customer pretty much uses his computer only to play Pogo.com games. (I know, I know). Anyway, whenever he attempts to launch a game, he receives a page that states that it can't run the java application because either it isn't installed or there is an error.
I have tried to re-install the latest version of java, I have made sure that it was enabled for Firefox and IE within the control panel. I have performed a full cleanup service on it, I have updated the PC to service pack 3, I have tried rolling back IE7. I get nothing. I have been looking around on different sites and it seems that there are a lot of people having this problem and most either use Firefox (which apparently freezes during gameplay) or an older version of Opera. I'm not sure that this person is going to be happy if I tell them to use either of these.
Anyone have any ideas?
Java, IE7, and Pogo.com problem: (Not mine)

Turns out I was incorrect when I said I rolled back IE7. I tried to uninstall it under the uninstall windows components option. I installed SP3 and guess what... when you do that, you can no longer roll back IE7!! I'll bet this was their problem. I remember I fixed it before and someone else tried to fix this issue after I did. Sounds to me like they kept updating to IE7. Crap. Anyone know of any back way to roll IE7 after SP3 other than re-installing XP?
Otherwise, I'll have to talk them into using Firefox or Opera.
Bubbs, I tried checking the popup blocker.
Flip, I'll get that info tomorrow.
