Has anyone played this level yet? I know a lot of you won't like it. If you hate Abend for it's missle boating this level isn't for you. If you like a good ole silly time maybe you will like it. I personally think it's kind of fun. It gives a good opportunity to learn the performance envelopes of the different types of secondaries.
If you haven't given it a try you should.

you got two seconds of invuln. if you're not moving by then, you only have yourself to blame. stop whining.

talk about the lamest_level_EVAR...sheesh.
As for happy tunnel it's kind of fun for a super ugly level, for a while

I had a pretty good game in there last night. It's not bad, as long as some cheap little player doesn't sit in an energy center room and lob missiles out the whole day. Fortunately, a few strafes and Megas took care of him pretty quickly

heh, back in my day we didnt get invuln on spawn, ya whiners...
you start with lasers, concussions, and a super lame shield for a few seconds, thats plenty to work with. get teh filez if you can't kill anyone with them.

I have to take medication to keep from going into convulsions from having flashbacks of that level. I didn't even play it that much! It's pretty ugly, so I see no need to play it again.

Don't forget the 101 gunboys, 250 seeker mines, ... a dark corner to hide in, ... I'm not too fond of Happy tunnel, but my 5 year old loves to sneak around in there !

and the black shark
never forget the shark
heh.
The shark alone makes that level unfair to noobies. The fact that there's a buttload of megas in there makes it even unfairer

If you have fun in there go with it.
I don't like it.
I always try to make the game enjoyable for others who I could otherwise kill easily, without compromising MY game, buy working on 'other things' while playing. Unfortunately, this level doesn't really allow that for a variety of reasons, and I end up reducing the 'fun quotient' for newer players.
I don't like that, so I tend to stay away. I want newer players to have fun and stick around!

I think it is a very nice dodge-training level.
After 30 min of "tunneling" had hand hurt as hell LOL.
If you keep a distance to the walls sharks can't harm you.
I have hosted a tunnel server for more than one week now and it is played more than most others.
With a respawnrate of 1-5 sek. is is even more hard.
I took out all the countermeasures except proxmines - now it calmed down a little
