SATA Drives

Post by woodchip »

In my pursuit of building a new computor I am now at the point to decide what HD to get. So what SATA HD should I get? 7200 rpm much worse than the 10k rpms?
Which brand...Western Dig., Seagate etc? Any exceptionally good deals?

Get a Seagate 7200.11 series drive, they come with a 5 year warranty. 750 GB drives are currently the cheapest per gigabyte, if you don't need that much storage though get a 320 or a 500 to save a few bucks.
