Power supply

Post by woodchip »

Next on my list I need a decent power supply for the Q6600 cpu, a ATI HD3870 Sapphire vapor-x vid card in a Asus P5Q Deluxe MB.

I see a number of brands from Antec, to Rosewell, Corsair, Thermaltake and PC Power & Cooling. I suspect I'll want a 650 but I see Newegg has a Antec 800 for 150.00. So kindly let me know whats good and what ain't.
Thanks

Quite happy with my OCZ GamerXtreme 700w PSU, and it is more than sufficient for virtually every single GPU single socket system on the market.
