Is there any way to force 32bit in d3?
I can set it, and it'll remember the setting until I restart d3...then it's back to 16 bit...must be a way of making it stay at 32bit.
thanks!

Nope, bug in D3. I'm not sure it even does switch to 32bit color when you tell it to..

It really does switch to 32 bit color in Direct3D mode, but OpenGL is 16 bit only and never changes even when it says it is set to 32 bit color.

Yeah, if you read the post mortem on D3, you'll learn that it was coded for D3d and Glide more than OGL.Thus GL has always had it's \"rough spots\" in the game.
