Why harass a completely legit voter registration organization?

I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on disk somewhere.
Ironic. Last time around it was the Democrats screaming \"election fraud!\" and this time it's the Republican's turn to scream \"election fraud!\".
Though from the sounds of it, I'd be pretty dubious of ACORN's voter registration practices, too. They seem to be consistently on the borderline or over the edge. Pretty dodgy practice.

Obama was part of a team of attorneys who represented the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in a lawsuit against the state of Illinois in 1995 for failing to implement a federal law designed to make it easier for the poor and others to register as voters.

I guess ACORN only started being fraudulent after Obama left, right?
