I was not able to connect to the net and found in System Restore that because of Auto Updates MS had installed \"Software Distribution Service 3.0\".
I changed the auto updates, used a Sys Restore and all is well.
I looked on the net and saw where it has been a problem back a few years but couldn't find what this update is for.

Ops! It seems to work when I 1st startup but then it won't load page afterward.
I see that it's looking for the website IP (208.67.219....) address instead of normally showing the website name at the bottom of the page.
Any ideas?

I did shutdown the router and computers. One is working fine and the one that had the update is not.

I guess I don't need anybody else posting since I can fill up this post by myself.
Was working again and then goes back to not working.
Only thing that was going on between working and not working was a screen saver. So I'll turn that off and \"see how she do\".

Correct me if I didn't understand you ... You have a screensaver that is causing you to lose your Internet connection?
Dude, that's one crappy screensaver.

Nope, it's not the screensaver.
Also tried \"ipconfig\" release ..renew. with no help.
Any suggestions?

Go into your NIC properties and disable it's power saving feature.

Not sure what caused it but it's been ok for a couple of days now.
