It's mostly Descent3 these days, though you can occasionally someone willing to play Descent or Descent II. Check out the sticky thread in this section about how to join multiplayer games.

I still play D3 ocasionally. I'm getting back into D2 now - amazing how dependent you become on thrusters if you play D3 too much. Starting to get that old D1 tri-chording feel back though

I do D3 on Vortex, but I want to try DXX, especially with the TEW mission ready. I'm on a bit of a hiatus right now as I try to complete my bathroom renovations and search for a job. Play rehearsals suck away many evenings, too...

@cope - fake missiles, you mean. As Foil said, most of it is D3 these days.

Still, there are several people on IRC you could ask for a D1/D2 game.
(QuestionableChaos: yes, I've seen you join and leave #dxx-rebirth a few
times; you need to stick around for a bit longer in order to find someone
to play against. The channel isn't very populated (yet) and we don't hang
