WinXP All Services DISABLED ?

Post by AceCombat »

i have a PC that im working on, and some how all the services except RPC, RPC Locator and a couple of Windows services have all been disabled. i cant get them to come back up because each time i try, it says i need to have so and so already running, but when i try to load that particular service, it needs another one?!?!

is there a way to restore all the default values for windows services without having to format and or repair ?

Black Viper's site has a page listing \"out of the box\" settings. I'm assuming XP.
Here is the page;
http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm

If you follow the links you will find a default svcs file that you can dl.

use msconfig - its the same tool probably used to disable them in the first place.
