Power supply compatible with x58?

Ugh! I've read so much regarding just about every piece of this upgrade that I'm getting really confused. Heh!
I read a post about PSUs needing to be compatible with x58 boards for the i7.
I cant seem to find anything about my particular PSU and whether it's compatible with an x58 mb or not.
Here's the spec page on my PSU. Can anyone tell if this PSU will work with an x58?

An ATX12V 2.0 or higher will do just fine, most PSUs nowadays fall into that category, incl. the one you linked (ATX12V 2.2) That one BTW has only 70% efficiency, not very good.

yeah...that was one of the best that Best Buy had, and I had no other options. I could return it (I have a few days left), but the options at BB arent great. They have an antec 650, a thermaltake 850 (for another $70 or so), and a BFG 650.

Even w/o the efficiency it should run decently, right?

(btw, thanks for the response! I spent hours looking for something on compatibility between the two...)

Might be a little late (I was away from home) but avoid thermaltake power supplies unless its the only one in the whole world that you can find. They are among the prime examples of just how badly something can be made by using the Chinese version of budget manufacturing. And I quite honestly wouldn't trust a $100 dollar computer on one, let alone a $1000 dollar computer.

We call them \"thermalmistake\" on the street. Take it back for a refund if you can.

OK, Krom and Grendel have never steered me wrong. So I'm going to go with a different PSU, even if I have to take a loss on this Thermaltake --I guess I can always have it sitting around for emergencies...(I need to have my system running, and I only have 6 days to take the thing back...maybe newegg can ship the new psu here fast enough though).

From all the PSUs on Newegg, what do you recommend?
I'm getting ready to finalize my order tonight or tomorrow...hopefully this rig'll be up and running in a week or so!

--edit--is a 55nm 260 card something I should aim for, as opposed to the same card that doesnt have it?

--edit 2-- I'd like to keep the PSU under $100 if I can...though, I'll go with your recommendations. Here's two I found. What do you think?:

I have this same make and model in my main system, zero problems with it since December 2006 when I built it.

Good deal, alternative, both $110 AMIR. I used both models w/o problems in 24/7 systems. Never try to save too much on the PSU, it'll bite you in the end

x2 on that. I found a cheap PSU last year - huge rebate put my final cost under $20, specs listed it as 500W with a decent efficiency... but it only lasted about three weeks.
