Wireless speeds

Since wireless is a weak poing of mine, what is the max speed any of you have seen using wireles g when doing file transfers across your network, the most i have seen is roughly 2.8 MBs

Give or take 2-2.5 MB/sec over wireless G, sometimes much worse. The same computers over a wire do 30-40 MB/sec.
