A friend gave me a couple of laptops that show they're running XP but there's no power cords so I can't turn them on.
Anyone know how old they are?
It also shows P4, 2.8G, XPH, DVD-RW, 256M EXT 60G.
Can you decipher the above?
Also if there worth working on, where would I get the power adapters for them, Fujitsu?

What's the part number?
you should be able to look it up on Fujitsu's site via customer support > User guide or Tech Specs. they're going for a couple hundred on Ebay as well.

I looked and there is no hd. Just never heard of theta before.
It's a Fujitsu N3010.

Duper, Thanks but \"been there, done that\". Just never knew laptops didn't come with hd's. Is that what they did in the past?

Haven't you ever heard of a barebones laptop?

Not really. I've heard of \"bare bones\" stuff but I thought that was buying for building your own.

Dude, you asked how old it was. You didn't say you had jumped through those hoops.
