Technically it is already legal in small quantities in Cali too isn't it? Well that is unless you're a black or brown man from the wrong neighborhood....

With a medical liscense you can have 25 plants in Mendocino county and 99 in Humboldt county. I think you can have an ounce on you for personal use, however the sale and purchase of marijuana is illegal. These are local laws though and can be overridden by the federal government but are mostly respected. WHich is cool because it lets the hippies congregate far from me.
