It's the kind of rant that any liberal who doesn't like America can get behind, but it's not overly concerned with accuracy. It's just true enough to be palatable if you don't think about it too hard (where liberals live).
One of the most glaring untruths is that Christianity originated with the towel-heads.
I wouldn't deny that there are ignorant people in America, even a lot of ignorant people, but you know the extreme political right does not have a corner on the market, and neither does America as a country.
The only difference between this guy and the ignorant people he's supposedly calling out is that he has more people fooled (they get together and fool themselves in places called universities).

Re:
and so you think that just because people like me don't agree with everything you say, we're automatically on the 'left' side? Seems like you guys are exactly like the ones he's talking about.Spidey wrote:I hate to say it but that guy is not referring to “the extreme right”, that happens to be the way the left feels about “all“ of us.
Which part of “the other half of America” didn’t you understand?
BTW.. Maybe you didn't see what forum you clicked on, but EnC is thataway.
disclaimer: the preceding is known as poking fun for those of you WHO TAKE THE INTERNET TOO SERIOUSLY!
I thought it was funny; granted it has errors, but it entertained me. I wouldn't link to it for a source in an essay.
Christianity originated from Judaism, which originated in the middle east, hence \"towel-heads\". Correct me if I'm wrong...One of the most glaring untruths is that Christianity originated with the towel-heads.

can't stand anything contrary to your narrow minded view so you'll call it hate mongering. how can you be so f-ing stupid? who gives a ★■◆● about the comments? they're just armchair keyboard warriors like you, who just won't get up off their fat asses to do anything.Spidey wrote:OIC, you post your filthy little hate-mongering video, under the guise of being humor, and expect not to get called on it. Maybe you should have noticed the 1200 comments on that video, before you tried “that” excuse.

The Jews (Judaism) are in Israel. We've never been at war with them. They're our allies (and hopefully it'll stay that way)--they're our friends. You know how everyone is afraid that certain Arab nations will develop nuclear weapons? Israel has nuclear weapons! This guy was talking like they are all the same thing over there, and saying we've been at war with them. They aren't, and we haven't!Dakatsu wrote:Christianity originated from Judaism, which originated in the middle east, hence "towel-heads". Correct me if I'm wrong...
Christianity extends from Judaism, but Islam is faithful to neither. Islam is a separate religion, and the Allah of the Koran bears little resemblance to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob presented in the Bible.

I thought the jews were arabs? As in they originated in the middle east. Arab isn't synonymous with Muslim.Spidey wrote:Yes, you are wrong…“towel head” refers to Arabs, not Jews.

You go back far enough and the Jews and Arabs do come from the same people (EDIT: I believe their lineage is traced to Abraham's two sons, respectively, Isaac and Ishmael), unless I'm very mistaken. But that doesn't matter, because aside from a shared lineage there is and has been a huge difference between the two, and Christianity came from the Jews/Judaism, not the Arabs/Muslims. Historically I don't think Arabs = Muslims, but I believe Islam is the predominant religion in the Arab world today.
Edited to clear up a confusing parenthetical statement.
