Logitech G9 mouse

Post by ReadyMan »

I'm ready to abandon my MX300 optical mouse, and the G9 seems to be the only mouse that fits my small hands. This mouse is a few years old now, is there anything comparable, or anthing new on the horizon?

I'm mainly interested in comfort and I'm still using windows XP (seems that vista makes use of laser mice better...?).

I tried a habu mouse about a year ago, but it was too uncomfortable...

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I've seen several other gaming mice. The G9 will have about all the resolution you'll EVER need. (2000 dpi iirc) That's just about the highest available if that's important to you. Siatek's mouse is a large mouse and has a variable weighting feature. I don't recall what the specs on the res are. Check the forum here out. There was a game mousing thread not too long ago that was rather thorough.
