Here, I've wanted to post this picture for a while...

This is me all dressed up in mathematician regalia (bonus points for any of the symbols on my robe and hat you recognize!) In this picture, I am probably preparing to give a painful lecture to some innocent person who had a harmless question about numbers or geometry or some other such thing that people just don't take seriously enough.

Well, aside from the entire lowercase Greek alphabet, set of prime reals, the Real Number Set symbol on your shoulder, the summation sign, the infinity sign, and the integral sign, I have no clue what anything is, unless those aren't simple multiplication or cross-product signs.

Here are the rest: The upside down U in the lower left is an infinite set intersection. The X above it is an alef-sub-not (one of my favorite numbers). Above that is the the square end-of-proof sign, and then the complex numbers. On the right are an if and only if arrow and a semidirect product.
The book I am holding is "Rational Points on Elliptic Curves," a real page-turner as math books go.
