Just wanted to post a followup to the G9:
This is the best mouse I've ever used!
It's well worth the $100 (and if the price goes down, it'll be worth that much more).

The on the fly adjustable dpi settins are great to use, though 1200 works fantastic for me most of the time.

The only downside that I can think of is the that scroll mouse is a bit stiff for clicking down on (as compared to my previous mx300), but that's a small thing that may even be addressed with the new G9x due in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the input everyone!

I use the Logitech LX7. It's not gaming mouse, but it has fair range, fantabulous battery life, plenty of resolution (my guess is 1000 or 1200 dpi), and it fits my hand. Be sure to get a mouse that works for you.

For my laptop I use the Logitech VX Nano; it's amazing the size of it and its receiver (size of a nickel), and has spectacular range (over 30 feet). The VX Nano I believe has a resolution of 1200 or 1600 dpi.
