Pretty Backgrounds

Nick passed along this link to me and I thought it was pretty cool.

These are images from the anime Onegai, Teacher. On the left column, you have the backgrounds as they appeared in the anime. On the right, you have photographs of the places they were based off of.

Those are some mad backgrounding skillz.

Wow, that's awesome. Looks like the animators had a lot of real world inspiration.

I have 2 volumes of Please Teacher, and it's some good stuff.
