disconnected from server

hi,
I'm trying to logon to some Skybox games on a few different servers and I get on alright but am promptly disconnected from the server. I'm thinking this is automated and am wondering if its because of my slow internet connection. does my slow ping cause the server to kick me out?

Try this:

1. When you start Descent 3 and get the first dialog ... click on Setup
2. In the Network tab, select \"Lan/Direct Connection\" and also \"T1, ADSL, T3, etc.\"
3. Click OK.
4. Enjoy.
