heh, I actually went in there yesterday. It was me, Rook and Sargeant Thorne. If that's "the rest of us", forget it.

Why can't we just put some new server info into GLMax and be done with it? It seems like s simple search and replace deal. Does anyone know how to reach Marek?

Bubba, what I'm suggesting is to abandon shadowfire alltogether for the Alternative Descent Chat. Let it point to a gamesurge IRC server or something. That way, the people who want to use IRC may do so, but the people that still want to use GLMax won't get left out in the cold. Best of both worlds, see?

dumb question, i've tried to access that channel through gate's irc option. when i first log in to the irc server, before joining the descent channel, i see, for example, 1 person in the room, i type /join #descent or right click on the descent channel and the number changes to 2 in the room but i don't get a tab or anything showing that i've joined into that room. do i specifically need mirc or trillian for this?
