We've got a few rules here that cater to the 56k crowd, however I can't remeber the last time someone here actually admited to having anything other then broad band. So, just out of curuiosity , who has what?

The dial up rules are actually nice because it means the pages here will load more or less instantly on high speed (and they do).

I hate to be the one that points this out but ISDN will never be better than 144K up or down and thats if you are able to use the D channel for data (depends on ISP) in addition to the 2 B channels. If you can't use the D channel then all you will get is 128K.
/me is currently stuck on IDSL at 144K. It's like ISDN because it's DSL over an ISDN loop.

I get about 2800down/680up according to DSLreports. I'm supposed to be getting 3000 down and unspecified upload, so I figure I'm doing pretty well.

FYI, ISDN is either 64k (single channel) or 128k (dual channel).
I have 10000/128 cable.

Isn't that what I said? Ok, well not exactly.... 64K per B channel and 16k for the D channel. Add it all up and you get 144K but only if your carrier support data over the D channel.
