Rise of Flight

Post by ReadyMan »

I initially was a Red Baron pilot along with other various ww1 flight games when Descent came along. With no new Descent game in sight, it's time to take to the skies again...Rise of Flight was just released!
Looks pretty solid.

Nice to see some flight sims being released again....

This actually looks really fun.
Even then I'm still thinking how I could make a Descent variant. :P

Aye Red Baron and Red Baron II were quite fun. I may have to try this.
It's never good to wake up in the shrubs naked, you either got way too drunk, or your azz is a werewolf.

Loc-on for jet Sim,
IL2 Sturmovik is old but still probably the best WW2 Sim out there.
Flight Sim X is excellent but is not a shooter game

1C is getting close to releasing a new WW2 Sim, centered around the Battle of Britain

Heh! Well, playing RTSs I guess. Thanks for the links bubba.
I really only ever enjoyed WW1 flight sims.

I ordered a copy of Rise of Flight last night and it shipped today. Looking forward to flying again.

Having investigated ww1 sims lately, I came across MS combat simulator 3 which has a mod for it called Over Flander's Fields...a WW1 filght sim with an apparently large following. MSCS3 is pretty old but I'm thinking of getting a copy for O.F.F.
