Ok, I've started fooling around a bit in the level editor. It's not that hard to operate as I previously thought. You may be seeing my brand new first D1 Level soon enough
But straight to the point: Using the editor I opened descent.pig, the file which contains the texture palettes. What did I see? The textures mostly unused in the original game are a 100 times better than the ones in D2? How could Parallax let so much of such awesome material go to waste, I really don't get it. These textures rule!
