Footpedals

Post by flip »

Ok the title is a little misleading. I don't actually want pedals but just 2 on and off switches to control forward and backwards movements

On this page http://www.delcomproducts.com/products_USBFSW.asp they have a range of them going from around $40 to $100 bucks. Since I don't want to waste money on something overpowered and would never be used to it's full potential, I'm thinking this one: http://www.delcomproducts.com/productde ... num=903602

Any advice or more suggestions is appreciated.

Be careful, I have a set of X-Keys foot switches I wanted to use with Descent, but I never got the thing to work, something to do with the repeat rate.

I’m not saying you would have problems, but I would sure try to test it before you buy.

P.S. there also were not the choices back when I got my X-Keys.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of and really no way to test until after I buy them. There's 2 different sets there. One programmable and one the emulates joystick button 1-2. I got no idea what the difference is, I just want to plug and play the things and hope rebirth sees it when I press the dang button.

Bah, go to a thrift store, find an old USB game pad, get some wood and switches and make it yerself. That's basically what I did for my sister, rigged up a footpedal. Though that pedal was an old amateur radio pedal.
