Looks like France wants to "pre-emptively" (heh) intervene in its once caribbean colony of Haiti. I wonder if they will bring Poppa Doc along with them? I say let the Haitian's sort things out.

"France has raised the possibility of an international peace force being sent to Haiti, where the recent wave of unrest has left about 50 people dead."

Hmmmm! I was just watching BBC world cover this. A little cheeky of old Mr De Villepin no? Then again France would need all the help it can get with Haiti. I wonder if they've figured out that tanks have forward gears yet??

My guess is military action between France and Haiti would produce a stalemate, unless Bermuda threw it's support behind France.
