This is just... terrible!
IMO, Disney went from good to... evil.

I'n not sure I agree folks.
Disney's product is all aimed at young kids, Marvel's target market is far older and more worldly in their outlook. Disney paid 4 billion for their IP portfolio, the last thing I would see them doing is getting involved in the day-to-day running of Marvel - it's just not in their best interest.
They bought Marvel to plug a gap in their product offering (a pretty big gap at that). Why undermine your hard work and money spent by screwing around with Marvel, somthing that is far from broken?

There's still more hope for the future than some might think. The fact that they're revisiting Tron and vamping it up massively is worth mentioning. Disney's already been coming out with quite a bit more racy things in the past few years, though usually through secondary or tertiary labels. They just try to make sure that anything with the blatantly-obvious Disney stamp of approval is considered worthy of mainstream audiences, preferably families.
Did everyone now know that Touchstone pictures (makes of quite a few R and PG-13 films) has been owned by Disney for over 20 years? Touchstone is only one of MANY groups that Disney either owns or has controlling interest in.
Naturally, Disney only actually puts the \"Disney\" name/logo/association on the stuff that is supposedly \"Family Friendly\".
It's all just business, folks.

Oh, THAT'S why Disney bought Marvel, to try and get a young male audience. They were worried about having to many girly programs! But will it work?
