Good Grief!! I didn't know the details. I now believe there is a need for Hell.Bet51987 wrote:Duper wrote:...
Jessica was abducted, tortured, and repeatedly raped over a period of three days before he killed her. You know how she died? He made her get into a plastic bag along with her teddy bear in the pretense of taking her home but instead he buried her alive. He didn't asphyxiate or crush her windpipe first, he just buried her alive. She was only nine years old.
When they dug up the grave, they found finger marks on the bag where she was desperately trying to get out but couldn't. And you think I was too harsh? I think you're being plain stupid.

And I contend that putting someone to death for taking it upon themselves to take another's life (outside of self-defense) does indeed create a just situation.I wrote:Justice is not just some legal buzzword for revenge, it is an aspect of reality.

Yes yes, I understand your "overwroughness". you forget, I'm considerably older than you have seen this come and go. Trust me, this guy is tame. Welcome to the human condition. You didn't understand my post. Get off the adrenaline. If you REALLY understood what you titled this thread, then you would understand why i posted what i did.Bet51987 wrote:Jessica was abducted, tortured, and repeatedly raped over a period of three days before he killed her. You as a fellow human are just as capable of doing the same evil as he did. You are deserving of your own judgment.

You don't believe in Hell and you've stiff-armed God. I don't expect you to understand His precepts or believe what He's said about rejoicing when your enemies meet their end.
btw, I believe in capital punishment. Did this guy qualify? I think so.

There is absolutely nothing about this guy or his actions actions that are "tame".Duper wrote:you forget, I'm considerably older than you have seen this come and go. Trust me, this guy is tame. Welcome to the human condition.
"Welcome to the human condition"?
