Brains. Yummy.

This is a really cool dream I had about zombies mid September. For those into technical zombie details, these were typical dumb, slow moving zombies, not the fast, inteligent ones in 28 Days Later or Left 4 Dead. And yes, this really was a real dream I had.

I dreampt that I was in a high school building in a small town out in the countryside. There were a couple zombies loafing around the school, and the air was FULL of excitement as the Zombie Apocolypse had finally arrived! It seriously was a zombie party in there, or at least for a short while...

Eventually, the zombies started biting people and multiplying. The party was over. The power went out in the school and I wandered the dark hallways looking for something to defend myself with, but was unsuccessful. With zombies piling up everywhere, it was becoming too dangerous for me to linger in the school building, so I wandered outside.

Across the street from the school were two ranches. I approached the one on the left, but ran away when I saw that they had a flamethrower and were torching anything that came near their fence, alive or not. The people in the ranch on the right, however, were friendly and allowed me to take refuge on their property. Zombies piled up around their fence, but it was well constructed and held off the horde. They gave me two pistols to defend myself with. I was safe, for now...

There were three buildings on the ranch, a house, a shed, and some other small shack that if I remember right was an outhouse. We had completed a search of the property, just in case, and found the house and outhouse to contain no undead creatures. As for the shed, something was banging on the door and walls. One of my friends approached it and attempted to do a magic spell that would allow him to safely see through the wall to see what was inside, but the spell failed and ended up ripping off the whole side of the structure. Sure enough, it was full of zombies. The guy who had attempted the spell was quickly devoured. Dual wielding my pistols, I mowed down the small horde. Once all the zombies were dead for good, I saw a much larger creature in the back, likely the thing spawned the zombies in the shed. However, I was out of ammo by now, and that was the end of the dream.

Somebody's been playing WAAAAAAY too many zombie games! You just haaaaaad to say 'Brains' and 'Yummy' in the same sentence. It reminded me of the one part in 'Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End', during the Flying Dutchman's brig scene where Jack Sparrow's barnacled alter ego is holding his brain in his hand and does a big, gross, slow lick, IN CLOSEUP!
