D1/2 ladder levels

Post by aaronb »

Does anyone remember some of the levels we frequently used for ladder matches back in the late D1 & early D2 years?

Thanks.

Wow, Mr.Brinton ...ltns.

Back on ODL and early IDL the only ones I really remember were the Total Chaos series, Minerva, Fusion Rat's Paradise, Nysa, Athena, io, kaotixnm, manes, Atropos

Some others (mostly by Spaz): Demeter, Galatea, Hera, lachesis, maia, megadeth, Aglaia

For D2 the ones I specifically remember as being really popular were Stadium, Pulling Teeth, and Mori. And Chipmunk's level as well. Also I played a lot of The Aleges (sp?) but can't remember if that was D1 or D2.

That's a great list -- thank you!

Kevin and I have been playing around with d2x and neither of us could remember any of the level names.

It's funny how bad we are now. It took me a while just to figure out how to fly again.

What Aaron failed to mention is that I actually beat him once or twice. :) On average he's still kicking my butt, but it sure was satisfying to be able to say \"I beat Aaronb in a D2 game\"

If this wasn't just yesterday, I would deny it to the grave.

Wow KB and AB in the same thread. You two bringing back the ODL?! Now we just need Scoundrl, DrDon, otaY, and Karash and we're all set.

He'll probably do pretty well against me at the moment. We can try sometime.

What's the normal method of doing internet games these days?
