Should be fine. Just make sure you do a 'clean install'.

Upgrading Vista to 7 isn't that big of a issue even without a clean install, but be warned it can take some serious time on a well used OS. The clean install will almost universally be faster although it will take more time to backup and restore your programs and documents.

dont forget to save yourself alot of time with \"CLEANUP!\" and delete all those temp files that would get migrated

It should fit in about 20 GB, but you would want more room than that for stuff like system restore, program files and user profiles. Also the amount of space it takes up is somewhat dependent on how much memory you have because of the page file and hibernation file.

Im running win7 rc.

the windows folder is current sitting at 15 GB.
