windows 3.11 on the net.
windows 3.11 on the net.
Is there a good place to look up info on networking issues in windows 3.11? I'm going nuts.
Windows 3.11? Why would anyone want to?
Tip: With Windows 3.11, only \"Windows for Workgroups\" (seperate package from plain ol' Windows 3.xx) allows networking for that version of Windows. ALL other attempts to network requires your networking components to be external of Windows 3.xx (in other words installed, loaded, running, logged in, etc. before Windows 3.xx is even loaded).
Good Luck ('cause you're really gonna need it) and expect to get used to 'tweaking' the memory load configuration (how, when, how much... of the terminate and stay resident programs and software ... !@#$@ what memories).
x2 what Duper said as well.

Look at who asked the question, why do you ask why?TechPro wrote:Windows 3.11? Why would anyone want to?
I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.

Heck, no. IE didn't come around until well after Win3.1. Web surfing on Win3.1 was either one of the text-based browsers, or something like Netscape Navigator if you had enough RAM to run it.Isaac wrote:3.11 ... I thought it would be a real light weight OS that could use IE 6.
