Terrorist Trial

In New York, they are now going to send to trial a couple of terrorists:

\"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The accused mastermind of the September 11 attacks and four other top terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay will prosecuted in U.S. criminal courts, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said on Friday, the first major step in moves to close the controversial prison.\"

Now the question is why? Since they have all admitted to their guilt why should there be a trial other than to determine their sentence? Isn't the normal procedure when one proclaims their guilt is just to go in front of a judge and receive their punishment? Or is this going to be some sort of show trial to really show how evil our military and CIA is?

How much do you want to bet the defense will argue the confessions were coerced and the judge throws them out.

They want a show trial.

They want to make a big deal of 'proving' that they were the perpetrators, thus perpetuating the lie that 9/11 wasn't an inside job.

Alex Jones is a fun guy, but our government isn't that smart or well organised.
