I only have 4, 5, 0, and 6. Zero is my favorite and provided one of my inspirations for my user name.

heh, Terminal Velocity. I have that kicking around here somewhere, might bust it out in DOSBox for old times sake at some point.

Anyway, to make this post less of a complete waste of time, here's the first major wallpaper change I've made on anything in years:

Here's the picture for my desktop. I think we're going to use it as a Greeting Card for this year :)

Thanks!!! It took me 9 tries to get the best picture. Abbey cocked her head at the last minute when I said \"Alright... Say TREATS!\"

Cats are cool, but the dogs are the best companions ever to go everywhere with. Abbey gets too protective of me when I am by myself, so I bring Haley with when I go on errands.

I'm currently using the larger version of this image of the Boeing 7-series aircraft (707-777), which are parked outside my workplace.

Nice picture Lothar! I hear that they're going to try and fly the 787 Dreamliner today. Hope it goes well!

I'm using this screenshot from MS Flight Sim of one of my landings after my PMDG 737 struck a Mooney on an ILS approach to Denver (stupid ATC) in the snow. The collision jammed the right main gear. I cleared the weather to land and take the screenshot! Haven't been able to replicate it either. Usually when you hit something in FS, you get a default aircraft crash.

Yes, Concorde G-BOAG (serial #214). Directly above Concorde is SAM 970 (Air Force One from the Eisenhower administration). Behind it is the prototype 737, above that is American Airlines' last 727, and above that is the prototype 747. When I'm not teaching, I babysit those airplanes.

Other interesting aircraft in the photo:

Directly to the right of the big tent in the parking lot, the first plane on the grass is one of only 2 flyable DC-2's in the world. Next to that is a WB-47.

The behemoth on the tarmac to the far left is Dreamlifter -- a modified 747 that carries 787 wings. Out to its left, on the very edge of the photo, is a modified 737 with a radar array on top of it. I believe that one is a Wedgetail aircraft, which is the Australian name for AEW&C.

In the poster-quality version of the photo, you can just make out the nose of an F22 mockup behind some trees in the top center of the photograph.

Here's my Windows 7 screencapture-

(I found this wallpaper from tfw2005.com. Note that the style is a mix of Transformers Generation 1 and War Within)
(and it's for the upcoming Transformers game, 'Transformers: War for Cybertron')

Is that a filter technique or is it layers. It has a \"flash\" feel to it. very nice.
