DLE-XP will be publicly available pretty soon, and I don't yet have a nice logo and splash screen for it. So if anybody has the creative juices and is interested in creating some, his or her efforts would be greatly appreciated, and at least a place in DLE-XP's credits section would be his reward.
Ofc, it should be something D1/D2 related in the logo, and maybe some 3D design.
Not bad! Do you think you can add some Descent related background (Some bots or some level structure, or some of it all somehow blended together), maybe monochrome, so that the text will still appear prominent?
Well, don't know what you'll think, but here is my submission.
Have it in .psd format for any changes that may be required if needed. Tried to go with a theme that matched with the already existing program icon, other then the red for the DLE, kind of wanted to stick to descent blue.
Personally, I never really liked the splash screen for DMB because it seemed too cluttered, but it suited it's purpose.
I have incorporated your logo in DLE-XP and my descent site. It is very good.
Just one thing: The three lines of text are not exactly right-aligned. I have aligned them myself, but if you should change to logo somehow, would you take care of right-aligning them? That would be great.

eh? They're not exactly right aligned? I used right alignment on them as a format, they may seem off because the font was italicized to continue the flow of the design in the image.
