32 Bit Video Depth

Is there a setting that can force D3 to always load in 32 bit color depth instead of 16?

Unfortunately no, it is bugged. Also 32 bit mode doesn't work at all in OpenGL even when it is checked, it does work in D3D (and glide if you use a wrapper) but screen shots are always saved in 16 bit color.
