CCleaner is your friend!
It's never good to wake up in the shrubs naked, you either got way too drunk, or your azz is a werewolf.

Think it does different tasks. Anything I should know about CCleaner? Anything I should avoid?
I've looked at CCleaner and remember that the \"Registry\" was the part I was concerned about.

Stay away from CCleaner unless you seriously like trashing your registry or cleaning specifically to installing a new video card - noobz

Backup your registry before using CCleaner and don't eff with the reg cleaner then. No issues here.
*And oh there are other model drives on that Sony page...

Think I'll wait and see if we get anymore opinions.
I've always been cautious about messing with the registry although I always export a copy first.
Problem I see is that you don't always know right away that you've \"bollixed\" things up.

I've not had an issue with the registry with CCleaner. not recently as in the last year 1/2.
*shrug*
Backing up is always a good idea regardless of what you're doing or program you're using.

I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.

If it isn't too terribly difficult, give us some proof that this is legit information

lol, there are a whole slew of options that you only use IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. MOST people don't. Those who do don't need to use CCleaner.
Leave the greyed out stuff alone. Regedit even says the same thing. Most powerful registry \"cleaner\" will warn you on this. You mess with the OS's DNA, you run the risk of \"fubar\".

My decision is in. I'm un-installing and doing what I can myself.
Thanks all.
